Musical Powers

(This was a text message I sent to my family message thread.)

Music is too powerful to take lightly. Evil spirits move towards us or away from us based on what kind of music we listen to.

Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. Proverbs 4:23

Music is a gift from God. Its power we can’t even begin to comprehend because it goes into the core of our beings. Music stirs our souls. It makes us feel happy, sad, relaxed, cool, trendy, or even angry and enraged. Its power moves through us without our awareness and changes us literally from the inside out.

Words also have power that literally create and destroy. The melodies of music mixed with the power of words will have an effect on us and will cause us to walk with the angels of light or the angels of darkness.

God created satan as the greatest musical being. Don’t think for one second that Satan doesn’t still use the influence of music to control and manipulate and draw us away from God. The more sobering and frightful reality is that Satan is able to move closer to us through the lyrics and rhythms of music.

Protect your heart and your soul and do not give the devil an entry way into your life. Put up spiritual blocks and shields with worship music or melodies that usher in the presence of God.

Enjoy the pure forms of music that come straight from the heart of God. And then do everything you can to protect yourself from the perverted and corrupted forms of music that come straight from the dark world, sent to destroy your soul.
