We are reading through the entire NEW TESTAMENT by reading 3 chapters a day! Today we are in the book of Matthew 7-9.

Jesus is led to the wilderness to pray and fast for 40 days and be tempted by the devil. Jesus conquered and overcame those temptations with His commitment to the Father and by using the Word of God!!

Jesus teaches us how to live the Christin life through the "Beatitudes" and "The Sermon on the Mount."

Let’s read through the Bible together! 3 chapters a day will get us through the New Testament in less than 3 months! Today we will start in the book of Matthew chapters 1-3.

These are my very top tips when it comes to raising kids in a Godly manner. These have been helpful for our family and I pray it is helpful for yours as well.

It’s imperative for Christian parents to learn how to protect their kids from the sneaky tactics of the enemy. He comes to steal, kill, and destroy and we have a job to do as parents to protect them according to God’s word.

It does not make God happy when we listen to the bad reports instead of trusting Him. As a matter of a fact, we will see in scripture that it actually makes Him angry. The bottom line of today’s podcast is God wants relationship with us and that’s how we learn to TRUST HIM, even when things look bleak.

What is it about Moses that made God choose him for such a high leadership position? What about you? Do you have what it takes to lead well? We can all learn from Moses that we don’t have to be perfect to lead well; we just need God!

If you are becoming heavy hearted because things look bleak, or maybe they look the exact opposite of what you thought, hold onto faith! You might be on the verge of a breakthrough and you may see the most miraculous move of God you have ever ever seen! ….just like Moses did!

We are going to continue with the stories of the Bible and dive into the birth of Moses but first I want to talk about the ministry of “A God Focused Life.” God has a plan for you and wants to touch others through YOU!! Draw closer to Him and He will give you exactly what you need when you need it!

Joseph-God Takes the Bad Things Happening in Your Life and Will Use Them for Good

When was the last time you fought hard for a blessing of God to manifest in your life? Do you sit back and let life happen? Or do you take control of your decisions and do something to change your circumstances?

All throughout the Bible we see consequences of sin. We also see blessings that were passed down from fathers to sons. What about today? Can we have access to blessings? The answer is yes! Today’s podcast talks about the story and struggle between Jacob and Esau all for the blessing. I wrap up the podcast talking about how we can live in the blessing directly from God all because of Jesus.

Abraham had learned that it was extremely important to follow God’s guidelines, even when it came to finding a wife for his son Isaac. Maybe we can learn something as parents when helping our children find a spouse and maybe children can learn when seeking a spouse simply by doing what Abraham did: Obey God.

God tested Abraham’s heart to see if God really was first priority. We can learn a lot about ourselves based on what we would give up for Him. Trusting God is key.

There’s a time of warning and a time of judgement for our sins but God ultimately wants to rescue us and help us live an abundant life of hope. Tune in to today’s podcast to hear how this story of Sodom and Gomorrah applies to us today.

Relationship with God is key to seeing God fulfill His plan and purpose in our lives. Abram and Sarai were not perfect, yet God still loved them and made them the Father (and Mother) of many generations to come. There is hope for all of us if we only believe God!
