Breakfast Turkey Sausage
Ingredients:
1 pound raw 93% lean ground turkey
2 tbls pure maple syrup
1½ tsp sea salt (or Himalayan salt)
1 tsp finely chopped fresh sage finely
1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp poultry seasoning
Dash ground nutmeg
2 tsp ice cold water
1 tsp olive oil
Procedure:
Combine turkey, maple syrup, salt, sage, rosemary, pepper, poultry seasoning, nutmeg, and water. Shape into small patties about 2 tbls for each sausage.
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook for 5 to 8 minutes, or until turkey is no longer pink.
