An Emergency Implant Removal

Prayer Request..... (I’m suppose to be on a social media break but I need to rally my Facebook family once again for prayer.)

Y’all know I’m a breast cancer survivor and I have been having issues since January or February with inflammation and swelling and what they have called cellulitis.

We FINALLY got a doctor who took my infection and breast implant issues SERIOUSLY!! I went in today to get looked at again and he saw that the infection was so bad that he did an emergency implant removal.

I was awake during the in office procedure so that I wouldn’t have to stay at the hospital and be on an IV antibiotic.

I will admit, it was a bit traumatic and maybe I should have opted for the surgery. But here I am...it’s done and I’m home.

I am in quite a bit of pain so prayers are definitely appreciated!!!

I truly need them because for some reason I’ve always had a hard time managing pain.

In a few weeks I’ll go back and have the other one removed. At this point I don’t think I’ll have more put back in. This has been such a hard year dealing with this. I don’t want to go through this again.
