Sometimes when reading scripture,  we skim over miracles without even realizing it! In today’s reading, there are LOTS of miracles that perhaps you’ve never noticed. I pray you come to love Jesus even more and realize that He really was and is forever our one true God!

We will look at the “capstone” the builders rejected and we will look at Peter’s sin. Jesus prophesied that Peter would deny Him yet Jesus didn’t hold a grudge. Jesus forgave and even encouraged him with a future mission to strengthen his brothers.

There are many nuggets in this section of scripture to help us with humility and honoring others. Grab your Bible and follow along! What part stands out to you?

We will take a look at people who didn’t believe in Jesus and even people who believed in Jesus but didn’t believe what He said or in what God was telling them.

Then we will take a look at what happened to those who DID believe and how they were flooded with joy and the presence of God.

She didn’t worry about what others thought of her…she just poured out her alabaster jar on Jesus’s feet. What she did is still remembered to this day and sets the example of how to worship.

MARK 9-11
The verse that stood out to me from today’s chapters was Mark 9:15 where it says “… they were overwhelmed with wonder.”

The closer we get to Jesus, the more wonder we will have.

There is no one too low in status or too sinful for Jesus to want them to come closer. I pray this podcast helps increase your desire for Him and gives insight to how you can come closer.

Jesus told the disciples to come away and rest. And soon thereafter there was work to do. How can we discern whether to rest or work?

Our reading for today is Matthew 22-24….there’s so much to read about in these chapters, including end time prophecy! I will leave that topic for the theologians for now. :) Today I will focus in on what Jesus said is the greatest commandment; To love God and love others.

Jesus called the least likely unto Himself. Many who thought they themselves were “great” were not so great when it came to the things of God. And many who thought they were “less than” were among the greatest in the eyes of Jesus.

In Matthew 16 through 18, Jesus talks a lot about sin and ways we are hindered by the enemy. Seven things stand out that could help you conquer these things once and for all!

Matthew 13-15 is our reading today. Jesus talks a lot about the condition of our hearts and our final destination. Today’s episode is longer than usual because I wanted to go deeper with the explanation of God, the devil, angels, the differences between believers and nonbelievers and how to pray for ourselves and others! Phew…that’s a LOT!!! But necessary.

In today’s reading of Matthew 10-12, we see Jesus preparing the disciples for persecution and suffering. We, too, can be prepared for when difficulties and hardships arise. John the Baptist was losing faith, but what did he do about it? Find out by reading or listening to today’s podcast episode.
